Michael Wright is the recordist and collector behind the Michael Wright Collection. Over some fifty years from 1973 he recorded and assembled more than 11,000 audio and video recordings of lectures, seminars and discussions in mathematics, physics, cosmology and the philosophy of science, preserving a body of scientific thought that would otherwise have gone undocumented. The collection is the founding holding of the Archive Trust for Research in Mathematical Sciences & Philosophy.
